Responsible for setting up and activating all Paid Search activity. Collaborate with the Analytics team to define recurring paid search reporting exhibits, identify and activate ongoing optimizations. Provide search keyword research and performance insights as an input to guide SEO content strategy and coordinate with the web team to roll-out.
Responsible for owning the paid search activation approach across T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile
Champion for Google Ads and Bing Ads best practices, betas and innovative features
Provide leadership across the search team, sharing industry knowledge and helping improve day-to-day team processes
Spearhead paid search testing plans and act as a project manager for program-wide search team initiatives
Act as the liaison between paid search strategy leads and paid search activation team
External Cross Team Collaboration:
Regularly communicate relevant considerations to upper management for external stakeholders
Ensure search trafficking execution is aligned with external stakeholder objectives
Assist with external stakeholder collaborations on smaller campaigns
Internal Cross Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accounts are structured optimally for best performance
Spearhead Machine Learning initiatives to utilize paid search tools and features to maximize the paid search investment
Build a process for optimizations and tests that are iterative for future learnings and on-going analysis
Identify and communicate opportunities for improvements and optimizations to internal stakeholders
Lead team day-to-day, troubleshooting issues as they arise; escalate to Sr. Paid Search Manager, as needed
Lead areas for opportunity, innovation and/or optimization
Propose and lead execution on testing plans, feature adoption and other outside of the box ideas to Sr. Paid Search Manager
5+ years of paid search experience activating paid search in-engine while working with a team of junior activators to optimize a program against goals/KPIs
Excellent understanding of account set up and optimization on search engine and platform
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to manage up and manage down as needed
Highly skilled in leveraging excel for day to day optimizations and performance analysis
Excellent knowledge of holistic search planning fundamentals
Excellent delegation and time management skills
Understanding of SEO and how it partners with paid media channels
Team management experience an asset
Third party bidding platform experience an asset
Shopping campaign management experience an asset
Amazon advertising experience an asset
Telecom experience an asset
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Travel: 10% travel required, domestic overnight, most travel to corporate headquarters in Bellevue, WA
Colorado Pay Range: $89,300 – 120,800
New York Pay Range: $95,700 – $129,400
