Scaling Without Headcount: Building an AI Operations Layer for Marketing
Everyone’s talking about AI in marketing. Fewer people are talking about how to actually operationalize it without losing brand voice, strategic judgment, or your clients’ trust.
In this fireside chat, I’ll walk through the framework I use to scale marketing execution without scaling headcount: pairing an agentic/operations layer (the part that actually does the work) with an intelligence layer (the part that keeps everything grounded in real brand and market context). Neither works well alone — the execution layer without context produces generic output, and the intelligence layer without execution is just another dashboard nobody checks.
I’ll ground this in real use cases I’ve built for clients, including an agentic workflow that auto-generates and publishes on-brand web pages directly to WordPress, built around actual SEO/AEO strategy rather than keyword-stuffed guesswork. And I won’t just cover the wins — I’ll talk honestly about what hasn’t worked, where the guardrails failed, and what I’d do differently.
We’ll cover:
- How I landed on this framework (and what I tried first that didn’t work)
- The operations/intelligence layer model, in plain terms
- A deep dive into one or two specific client use cases
- Open floor — bring your own use case and we’ll work through it together
This session is built for the second half to be as valuable as the first, so come with a real scaling problem you’re trying to solve.
